Founded in 1880, the Pellegrino family farms stretch for more than 300 hectares across many kinds of soil and microclimates. In over 135 years, Pellegrino has gained a deep knowledge of Sicily lands and the methods for cultivation of native grape varieties and the best techniques for wine-making. The family has always managed the activities in the vineyard and in the cellar. Today the 7th generation is involved in the company’s everyday management. It is a long family history built on respect, care, love and dedication and on values handed down from father to son and which makes it today one of the greatest families in Sicilian wine.
