Ageing: 42 months in French oak barrels, 16 months in bottle

A giant, a joy to drink!! Bright ruby-red color. There's a fresh, sweet pistachio-nuttiness to the nose, wild plum, fresh tobacco. A little tarry black licorice and plum flavors and some good mineral edging the finish.
