Ageing: 36 months in French oak barrels, 14 months in bottle

Full, deep red-ruby. Exotic aromas of dark cherry, flint, candied violet and spicy underbrush. Rather full in body, with dark fruit, tobacco and flinty flavors nicely supported by substantial smooth tannins. Lively on the palate, this is a full bodied wine, with medium acidity and a silky, juicy entry. The finish reveals lingering ripe tannins, and the tiniest touch of alcohol.
